The Keepmoat Stadium will host an extravaganza of sporting fun to keep kids entertained during the half term school holidays; through a joint venture with Doncaster Rovers Community Foundation.
The programme will encompass a wide variety of sports and other fun activities for boys and girls aged between 7-14, of any physical ability.
Youngsters will take part in various activities from the All Sports Week timetable which includes ten pin bowling, a mini football world cup, ice skating, army training with a real life sergeant, fencing and a special tour of Old Trafford; home of current Premiership Leaders Manchester United, to celebrate the success of the programme!
The scheme aims to enthuse and engage youngsters within the region in safe and exciting environments, encouraging group participation and living a healthy lifestyle.
Parents will be able to ‘activate their kids’ Monday to Friday from the 21st until the 25th of February at the Keepmoat Stadium, with a cost of just £52 per week or £13 per day (9.00am to 3.30pm). Alternatively, it is £60 per week or £15 per day for parents wishing to collect their children between 3.30pm and 5pm.
Shane Chalmers, chief executive of the Stadium Management Company, who run the Keepmoat Stadium, said: “These sports programmes are always fantastic and this February promises to bring some of the best yet!
